Anidees AI Crystal XL AR Full Tower
Would bigger be a better chassis?

Wanna join us as we check out and review the new Anidees AI Crystal XL AR, a full tower PC chassis with 5 mm thick tinted tempered glass front and side panels. At first glance, it feels like a bigger variant of the previously reviewed Anidees AI-Crystal Tempered Glass. This chassis is huge (620x235x595mm (LxWxH)) and made of 1 mm thick steel, bringing the total weight towards 20 kg, a remarkable impression by today’s standards. This case can house HPTX, XL-ATX, E-ATX (12″x13″) SSI-EEB, ATX, M-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards and still leaves plenty of space for other stuff.

You can mount up to fifteen 3.5” storage units in hidden cages, even seventeen 2.5” drives in drive bays and that’s, yeah, absolutely crazy. At the front, there are the usuals in terms of ports, USB 3.0 (2x), USB 2.0 (2x), 3.5 mm HD audio jacks and fan controller are there.

Anidees AI Crystal XR AR has many cooling options (both air and water), with support for up to 480 mm radiators in the front and top (100 mm width with fan), and 120/140 at the rear. It's equipped with dust filters at the front (for four intake fans), top, and bottom (for PSU), which allows easy building and maintenance. Built-in are 5x 120mm AI-Aureola RGB Fans with a wireless controller, these create a very modern look with light effects inside and outside of the case, as well as offering good air flow. It’s possible to install up to 9 fans in total (you can add an additional four on the top side).

  • Max CPU Cooler Height 190mm
  • Max GPU Length 530mm
  • Max PSU Length 530mm (with drive cages removed), 200 mm in the standard setup

Overall, it’s hard to find a weakness when looking at the raw specification. But that’s a subjective thing, let’s proceed to the next pages please to check it all out.

Anidées AI-6 chassis review
There is a new player in the PC casing / chassis arena, they are named Anidées and recently they have introduced their first product into the market. Their first chassis released is the AI-6, it comes in three models, standard black, one with a side panel window and a sound dampened version. We'll check out the 'regular' model, but as you'll notice very little is actually regular about this chassis.
