Razer Project Christine is not likely to happen

Does everybody remember Razer Project Christine ? It looks like the project has been canned. In an interview with Polygon, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan revealed that his company is seeing lackluster response from OEMs. Tan believes Christine has gamer support but notes they need support from at least three to five OEMs to make this work.

NVIDIA Launches NVLINK - High-Speed GPU Interconnect

Over at the GTC in the USA Jen Hsun Huang (CEO of NVIDIA) has unveiled a new addition to the Titan line-up, the GeForce GTX TITAN Z. That graphics card comes with 12 GB of graphics memory. It is a dual-GPU solution, so that would be 2x 6GB. The Shader processor count doubles up as well at a cool 5,760 CUDA cores.

The 28nm process is actually the last node of Moore's Law according to EE Times. The site argues that we can continue to make smaller transistors and pack more of them into the same size die, but can't continue to reduce the cost with current technology. Therefore, EE Times claims 28nm will be the most cost-efficient process node for many years to come.

Transcend chairman Peter Shu predicts sales of SSDs will continue to boom this year thanks to declining NAND flash memory prices. After falling 30 percent in 2013, pricing of SSDs is expected to decline another 20 to 30 percent this year. Prices of SSDs are expected to decline another 20-30% in 2014 after falling 30% in the previous year, Shu observed, adding that demand for 256GB SSDs will surge if their average price falls to below US$100.
