EVGA releases SR-2 Classified PSU
By Panagiotis Georgiadis, August 11, 2010 - 8:57 PM N/A

There is no need to introduce you EVGA, a high-profile manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and consumer electronics dedicated to enthusiasts and overclockers. Today, EVGA extends their territory over power supply units by releasing a monster of wattage power, called Classified SR-2. I used the word ‘monster’ to describe this unit, because this PSU is capable of supplying no more or less than 1200W with active Power Factor Correction (also known as PFC) and six 12V rails rated at 38A. Also, as every respectable 80Plus Silver certified PSU, Classified SR-2 offers you 85% power efficiency and over.

So you are a gamer, right? As its appetite grows with what it feeds on, feel free to hook up to four video graphics cards onto your setup. Furthermore, you’ll notice that there are two knobs for tweaking the 12V rail and adjusting the fan speed respectively. Cool features, monster power and innovative design. What else can anyone expect from a power supply unit?

Last but not least the Classified SR-2 costs around EUR/$360 and it’s also backed by a five years warranty from EVGA.
