If you have been following the Microsoft press-conference over at E3, they just announced the Xbox One which will become available in November 23 this year. Microsoft also revealed prices, 499 USD, 499 EUR and 429 Pound Sterling for the new console. So far judging from the game releases, the console is looking pretty good. Especially the the Cryengine based Ryse of Rome in-game footage was amazing as well as Titanfall.

The first game announced at Microsoft's E3 press conference in Los Angeles was Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain featuring the voice talents of Kiefer Sutherland as Snake. The trailer opened with a scene on horseback reminiscent of Red Dead Redemption and detailed gameplay elements such as "Deeper Stealth Action" and Tactical Espionage".

The next exclusive Xbox One game to be announced was Crytek's Ryse: Son of Rome which is a first person "sword and sandal" epic set in ancient Rome. It featured both hand-on-hand combat and massive battle setpieces. Ryse is compatible with SmartGlass and Microsoft used it to illustrate the new Timeline mode -- an expansion of Xbox 360's achievements. Moving on, The "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be available on Xbox One and features a free-roaming fantasy experience. It will feature several exclusive features for Xbox One including optional voice commands through Kinect.

But man that pricetag, that's a hard sell alright.  If the Playstation 4 really is $400 the way many have been predicting, that’s going to be a HUGE benefit for them.

So yeah, the biggest news is unquestionably that $500 price point, which will need much more discussion. So I'll leave that up-to you guys.
