At the back we can get a good overall look at some features you'll not find on regular cases. There are meshes everywhere and three holes for tubing are located at the top as well. You'll notice a 120mm AF120L exhaust fan that comes factory installed. You'll notice that the chassis has 7 expansion slots.

Back to the top side again, the top side cover is a mesh that is all about ventilation alright. You can actually lift up and remove the dust filter like shown below. Very handy for easy access.

The Obsidian Series 450D is supplied with 3 fans as standard, two 140mm intake fans and one 120mm exhaust fan

Several fans can be installed.

  • Front: (x2) 120/140mm
  • Top: (x3) 120mm or (x2) 140mm
  • Rear: (x1) 120mm
  • Bottom: (x2) 120mm

There are also plenty of liquid cooling mounting options at your disposal:

  • Front: 240/280mm
  • Top: 240/280/360mm
  • Rear: 120mm
  • Bottom: 240mm

When mounting a full length radiator on the roof of the case, the upper 5.25 inch optical drive bay will be partially blocked by the radiator though.

You'll notice that in the top middle an extended plastic bar eh, that is your power button with HDD LED activity, below it a reset button. Then to the left 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks, in blue two USB 3.0 ports.
