As you can see the PSU is 100% modular. Lot's and lots of connections. Even the ATX power header can be detached. See the button on the top left ? That's a Self-test switch to determine PSU functionality even before installation. Green is good - red not so much.

And yeah as you can see, a fairly normal length product really with its 16 cm - it's complete dimensions are 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) X 6.3"(L); 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 160mm(L).

BTW you will notice there's a AX860 and AX860i SKU. The 'i' versions are Link compatible. We'll show you more about Link in the next pages.

At the top you'll stumble into a fan -- silent enough, 140 mm. A silent quality fan (double ball bearaing). When load is under 30% the fan will remain off as explained quite often by now.

And check that out, that's 71.6A on the single 12V rails alone. Very nice !  In theory this PSU could hold three GeForce GTX 680 cards or Radeon HD 7970 cards quite easily. Albeit for 800 watt range we say, two way multi-GPU maximum as you need reserves for overclocking on the CPU and GPUs as well.
