Team Group announced the launch of its next-generation Gen 5 solid-state drive (SSD), the T-FORCE GE PRO PCIe 5.0 SSD. This product, developed under the T-FORCE gaming brand, utilizes the PCIe Gen 5 x4 interface and adheres to the NVMe 2.0 standard. The Gen 5 SSD is designed to cater to the needs of gamers and high-end users, offering significant improvements in storage speed and efficiency. The T-FORCE GE PRO PCIe 5.0 SSD is equipped with the InnoGrit IG5666 controller, which is built on a 12 nm multi-core architecture and emphasizes energy efficiency. This SSD features a 2,400MT/s NAND flash that supports both DRAM and SLC caching, achieving read speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s.

To enhance performance stability and longevity, the SSD incorporates smart thermal regulation technology, which uses internal sensors to manage heat and prevent overheating. Additionally, the SSD is fortified with 4K LDPC technology to ensure accuracy in data transfers.

T-FORCE has developed a range of cooling solutions specifically for Gen 5 SSDs. These include graphene heat sinks, copper tube aluminium fin air coolers, and all-in-one liquid coolers, providing options to meet various thermal management needs. The T-FORCE GE PRO PCIe 5.0 SSD will be officially unveiled at the CES 2024 event during ASUS' product showcase. It will be available for pre-order in North America on Amazon and Newegg, and on Amazon Japan, starting February 9, 2024.
