Scythe unveiled the MUGEN6 series of original side flow CPU coolers, with a focus on size and surface area optimization. This new series includes the "MUGEN6" (model number: SCMG-6000) in silver and the "MUGEN6 Black Edition" (model number: SCMG-6000DBE) in black. The MUGEN6 represents the 6th generation of the original CPU cooler "MUGEN" series. It boasts large fins, measuring 80 mm in depth with a thickness of 0.4 mm, emphasizing surface area. Additionally, it incorporates fins of varying shapes, facilitating efficient fan air capture through its "multiple air flow transmission" structure. The MUGEN6 Black Edition further enhances cooling performance with a thick copper heat-receiving base referred to as the "High Precision Base Structure." This base quickly absorbs CPU-generated heat and utilizes six φ6mm heat pipes for efficient heat dissipation to the heatsink.

Both models feature the "WONDER TORNADO 120 PWM" cooling fan, designed with a frame optimized for static pressure specifically for CPU coolers. It offers a variable rotation speed ranging from 350 ± 200 rpm to 2,000 ± 10% rpm, with an air volume of 7.68 ~ 60.29 CFM and low noise levels between 3.0 ~ 26.88.8dBA. The static pressure ranges from 0.49 ~ 24.03Pa/0.05 ~ 2.45mmH2O. The "MUGEN6" measures 132mm in width, 106mm in depth, 154.5mm in height, and weighs 1,013g, while the "MUGEN6 Black Edition" dimensions are 132mm width, 132mm depth, 154.5mm height, and a weight of 1,197g. These coolers are compatible with Intel LGA2066/2011(V3)/1700/1200/115x and AMD Socket AM5/AM4. Each product includes a syringe-type grease "Thermal Elixir 3" (1g), an application spatula, two sets of wire clips, and a PWM fan. A Y-shaped cable is also included. The estimated market selling price for the "MUGEN6" models sits in the $49 range.
