The ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4 motherboard will be a standard Intel Z690 chipset motherboard that supports DDR4 memory. DrMOS has a designed power supply circuit based on 14+1 phases.

The system is also outfitted with high-quality components, such as massive VRM heat sinks, alloy chokes, and capacitors with long life spans. Furthermore, by carefully wiring traces and vias in the memory slot and adopting the "OptiMem II" design, which optimizes the ground layer, it is capable of supporting high-speed memory with clock rates of up to 5,333 MHz in the memory slot. It is possible to reach a memory bandwidth that is comparable to DDR5 memory.

There are also PCI-Express5.0 (x16) x1 expansion slots, PCI-Express4.0 (x4 / x16 shape) x1, PCI-Express3.0 (x4 / x16 form) x2, PCI-Express3.0 (x1) expansion slots, and PCI-Express3.0 (x1) expansion slots. M.2 x3 and SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x4 are used for storage. A Realtek chip is used in the network's 2.5 gigabit LAN. The board is expected to sell for 250 USD.
