Today NVIDIA's GeForce Experience launches. For those that have not heard about as to what the GeForce Experience is, it is a software suite that wil configure your games based on your hardware for an optimal balance inbetween framerate and quality. Basically the NVIDIA software suite that will gather your hardware like CPU, Memory, Graphics card etc. Your data will be send towards NVIDIA's servers and based on your PC hardware an evaluation (for supported games) will be made. The software will then configure the game for you (this is in-game, not driver level). Please read more after the break.

The idea is a little controversial we agree, but for those with entry-level and mainstream PCs it could help them setup and play the game more easily without going through all kinds of in-game settings themselves.

So NVIDIA today launches an open beta for 10.000 users in an attempt to gain user feedback on this project. Now this is not a 100% set number from what we heard, so we'll be hosting this beta ourselves later on. NVIDIA asked us if we could generate some feedback.

Gamers with modern hardware and optimized game settings can experience graphics with amazing fidelity. Unfortunately, four out of five gamers never touch game settings and play their game as it's configured out of the box. Often this results in subpar performance, poor graphics quality, or both. This is where GeForce Experience comes in.

GeForce Experience has two key functions. First, it automatically checks for driver updates and downloads the latest drivers to your PC. Secondly, GeForce Experience detects the games on a user's PC and optimizes those games for the best framerate and image quality. The challenge is selecting the right setting for the countless combination of PCs and games out there. To facilitate this, NVIDIA has built a cluster of PCs—a GeForce supercomputer—to rigorously test between the vast number of hardware and software combinations. Optimal settings personalized for your hardware configuration are then delivered from the cloud to your GeForce-based PC via the GeForce Experience application, giving you a decent balance of frame rates and quality settings for your games.

So for those interested in testing and participating in the GeForce Experience please download your copy.

We have a dedicated forum thread on this topic that will be monitored by NVIDIA staff. You can leave feedback from within the tool, but thus also in our forums. Your likes, dislike, concerns and ideas could be posted there.

Give it a try if you'd like to of course. And please leave your feedback in this thread, we'd appreciate that, thanks.
