MSI Launches Compact Gaming Desktop Trident AS 14NUE7-680 with GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER

MSI announced the release of the "Trident AS 14NUE7-680JP," a compact gaming desktop. This new addition to the "Trident AS" series is notable for its slim design and the inclusion of the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card. With an efficient layout designed to separate heat sources, this model aims to provide optimal cooling and performance, particularly for WQHD gaming. The "Trident AS 14NUE7-680JP" is powered by an Intel Core i7-14700F processor and runs on Windows 11 Home. It features DDR5 16GB RAM (SO-DIMM) and a 1TB NVMe SSD for storage. The device is also equipped with a 500W power supply unit that holds an 80PLUS GOLD certification, ensuring energy efficiency.

For connectivity, it supports 2.5 Gigabit wired LAN and Wi-Fi 6. The desktop's dimensions are 137.06mm in width, 396.57mm in depth, 410.39mm in height, and it weighs approximately 5.53kg. The estimated retail price is set at around $2,886 (converted from 393,800 yen including tax), with sales starting from April 11th.

Simultaneously, MSI will also introduce a new model in the "MAG Codex" series, known for its high cost-performance ratio. The "MAG Codex 6 14NUE7-065JP" is another product aimed at WQHD gaming, featuring the same Core i7-14700F CPU and GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card. This model comes with DDR5 16GB RAM, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and a 500W power supply with an 80PLUS BRONZE certification. It supports Gigabit LAN and Wi-Fi 6 for network connectivity.

Furthermore, the "MAG Codex 6 14NUC7-066JP," aimed at gaming beginners, will be released alongside these models. It includes the Core i7-14700F processor and the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, running on Windows 11 Home. The dimensions of this model are 172mm in width, 454.83mm in depth, 406.3mm in height, and it weighs about 11kg.
