MSI Introduces Prestige 16 AI Series Laptops: Enhanced AI Technology and Performance Features

MSI introduced its new Prestige 16 AI series, incorporating AI technology advancements. This series features the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and leverages a Magnesium Alloy chassis to achieve a weight of only 1.5 kg. Despite its light weight, the laptop includes a 99.9 WHr battery, supporting PD 3.1 140 W Charging for extended usage and productivity enhancement. The Prestige 16 AI series is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, which includes Intel's integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) technology. This dedicated AI acceleration core improves CPU/GPU computing efficiency and power management. Intel's collaboration with over 100 AI-ready applications ensures optimized AI task performance by utilizing the NPU for workload processing.

MSI's innovation extends to the MSI AI Engine, designed to automatically adjust hardware settings based on AI-determined user scenarios. This includes modes for gaming, work, meetings, and entertainment, streamlining user experience without manual setting adjustments. The laptops have achieved Intel Evo platform certification, indicating a balance between performance and portability. Additionally, they are NVIDIA Studio certified, supporting creative applications with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. The series also features an OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, enhancing visual quality. Updates to I/O port arrangement and integration of Wi-Fi 7 are notable improvements in this series.

The lineup also includes the Prestige 13 AI Evo, which shares the Intel Core Ultra processor feature. This 13-inch model weighs only 990 g and houses a 75 WHr battery, offering a significant increase in battery capacity compared to similar market offerings.
