Microsoft revealed in a blog post that the Office 2021 software bundle will be published on October 5th, at the same time as the introduction of Windows 11.

They offer a one-time purchase of the bundle, which includes all of the most widely used Microsoft Office apps including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. According to rumors, Microsoft intends to support this most recent version of the Office suite for a period of five years. Office 2019 will likewise be supported for a period of five years.

Microsoft Office is a stand-alone version of Microsoft 365, a subscription-based service that contains the same functionality as the standalone version. Microsoft, on the other hand, states in a blog post that the subscription contains several features that are not included in Office 2021, and that these features are exclusive to the subscription. Examples include cloud-based services, artificial intelligence-assisted automation, and increased security measures, among other things, according to the firm.

Additionally, a commercial version of the software, known as Office LTSC, is available for purchase (long-term service channel). As previously indicated, this variant will contain a separate dark mode for all of the software that is included. It is currently unknown whether or not this aesthetically pleasing feature will be included in the standard Office 2021 configuration.
