Lenovo Introduces ThinkCentre M75 Gen 5 Desktops Featuring AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 Series

Lenovo has launched its latest ThinkCentre desktop series, the M75 Gen 5, featuring AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 Series processors. These desktops are equipped with up to 16 TOPS of integrated NPU capacity, designed specifically to handle AI-related tasks. The series includes the ThinkCentre M75t Gen 5, a performance-oriented tower; the flexible ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 in a small form factor; and the compact ThinkCentre M75q Gen 5. Sanjeev Menon, Vice President and General Manager at Lenovo, highlighted the company's commitment to integrating AI technology to meet growing business demands. The ThinkCentre M75 series is tailored to enhance productivity through AI without significant investment, featuring robust power supplies, component upgradeability, and advanced thermal management.

The AI-accelerated performance of the ThinkCentre M75t Gen 5 and ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 is powered by the AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 Series processor, with integrated AMD RDNA 3 graphics, up to 64 GB DDR5 memory, and up to 2 TB Gen 4 SSD storage. These specs support extensive multitasking and data-intensive tasks across various commercial applications. Lenovo has integrated specific AI-driven features, such as smart power allocation and an AI-optimized fan system, enhancing performance and cooling efficiency for sustained productivity. Additionally, these desktops provide flexibility for expansion and connectivity, supporting multiple displays and offering numerous USB ports for enhanced peripheral integration. The ThinkCentre M75q Gen 5, despite its small size, packs significant power with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8700GE processor, integrated graphics, and 64 GB of DDR5 memory. This model is ideal for space-constrained environments and can be mounted using a universal VESA mount.

Security and reliability are paramount in the ThinkCentre M75 Gen 5 series, which includes Secured-core PCs with the Microsoft Pluton security processor to protect sensitive data at all levels. Lenovo also offers comprehensive support services, including Lenovo Premier Support Plus and ThinkShield, which combine hardware and software solutions for maximum data protection.

Sustainability is another key focus, with the desktops featuring materials such as post-consumer recycled plastics and packaging that utilizes ocean-bound plastics and sustainably sourced cartons.

The ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 is available as of May 2024 starting at approximately $709, and the ThinkCentre M75q Gen 5 will be available from June 2024 starting at around $749. The ThinkCentre M75t Gen 5 will be available in selected global markets outside North America.
