The new models feature a doubled refresh rate of 120Hz and an ambient light sensor that adjusts screen brightness in response to environmental lighting. Dell has also improved its ComfortView Plus technology, which now reduces blue light emission to 35 percent, a decrease from the previous 50 percent.
In terms of connectivity, these monitors serve as Thunderbolt 4 hubs. They offer a 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet port, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections, two USB-C ports, and four USB-A ports. The 40-inch variant supports a maximum power output of 140W through its hub, while the 34-inch model provides up to 90W. The UltraSharp monitors are scheduled for release on February 27. In the United States, the 40-inch model is priced at $2399, and the 34-inch variant just over $1000.
