Dell has made the decision to discontinue the sale of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Radeon RX 7900 XT, Radeon Pro W7900, and the upcoming Radeon Instinct MI300 graphics cards in the Chinese market. Additionally, the list of affected products includes the MI210, MI250, and MI250X series.

This move by Dell follows previous actions in the Chinese market, where several NVIDIA products, including A100, H100, A800, H800, L40S, L40, A40, A30, K4, RTX A6000, RTX 6000 Ada, and GeForce RTX 4090, have also been restricted from sale. It is highly likely that the ban will extend to include the AMD Radeon Instinct MI300 and MI200 families, given the restrictions imposed by the U.S. government on the sale of 4800 TPP (Total Performance Processing) GPUs in specific countries and regions. Comparatively, the Radeon Pro W7900, with its 122.64 FP16 performance, falls significantly short, at just 1962 TPP, well below the specified limit.
