BIOSTAR announced the launch of its new motherboard, the "BIH61-AHA," designed for LGA1700 socket processors. This industrial-grade motherboard is tailored for AIoT, edge computing, and digital signage applications, featuring five PCI expansion slots to accommodate various peripheral devices. The "BIH61-AHA" is equipped with a total of ten COM ports, comprising two rear ports and eight pin header ports, supporting RS232/422/485 (2 ports) and RS232 (8 ports) communication standards. Furthermore, the motherboard includes dual wired LAN capabilities, with one Intel I219-V Gigabit LAN and one Intel I225-V 2.5 Gigabit LAN, enhancing network connectivity options.
In terms of hardware compatibility, the motherboard is based on the Intel H610 chipset and supports Intel Core processors from the 14th, 13th, and 12th generations, with a maximum Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 125W. Memory support includes two DDR5-5600 slots, with a maximum capacity of 96GB. For storage and expansion, the "BIH61-AHA" offers four SATA 3.0 ports, one M.2 slot, one PCI Express 4.0 (x16) slot, one PCI Express 3.0 (x4) slot, and five PCI slots.
Display outputs on the motherboard consist of one HDMI port, one DisplayPort, and one D-Sub port. The supported operating systems include Windows 11, Windows 10, and Ubuntu Linux. The dimensions of the motherboard are 305 x 244 mm.
