And yet more starfield news today. In early 2024, the development team is set to implement significant technical enhancements to Starfield. These improvements include the integration of advanced upscaling technologies such as AMD FSR3 (FidelityFX Super Resolution 3) and Intel XeSS (Xe Super Sampling). The update aims to elevate the gaming experience by introducing frame generation capabilities and enhancing image quality. Starfield will soon support AMD FSR3 frame generation technology, advancing beyond the currently supported AMD FSR2 upscaling. FSR3's key feature is the insertion of additional frames between existing ones, which improves frame rates.

This technology is complemented by AMD Anti-Lag+, designed to reduce latency. Additionally, frame generation will be paired with upscaling techniques that involve rendering at a lower resolution, followed by machine learning-assisted upscaling to a higher resolution. This combination is expected to further increase frame rates. Bethesda is committed to a continuous cycle of updates, aiming to consistently improve both the performance and the overall gameplay experience of Starfield.
