BenQ launches PD2706U and PD2706UA 27inch 4K LCD Displays

BenQ unveiled its 27-inch 4K LCD displays from the AQCOLOR series: PD2706U and PD2706UA. Set to hit the market on October 13th, the projected prices for these models are approximately $680 and $720. The latest offerings boast enhancements in brightness compared to their predecessors.

They support a wide color gamut with Display P3/DCI-P3 at 95% and sRGB/Rec.709 coverage at 99%, displaying up to 1.07 billion colors. Importantly, each unit undergoes factory calibration, ensuring accurate color representation for photo editing, printed material production, and video editing.

In terms of technical specifications, the LCD panel is of the IPS type, with a brightness level of 350cd/m^2 (rising to 400cd/m^2 with HDR). The contrast ratio stands at 1,200:1, a response speed of 5ms, horizontal frequency ranging from 27-135KHz and vertical frequency from 26-76Hz. Both models offer an expansive viewing angle of 178°, both horizontally and vertically. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-C ports (with one providing 90W power delivery), and several USB 3.x ports.

The "PD2706U" model, equipped with a standard stand, offers adjustable features like a tilt range from -5 to 20°, swivel from -15 to 15°, a 90° pivot, and a 110mm height adjustment. Its dimensions are 613.8 mm (width), 238.3 mm (depth), and a height range between 450.9 mm to 560.9 mm. It weighs around 8.3 kg.

On the other hand, the "PD2706UA" is fitted with a display arm, allowing for a tilt range from -5 to 30°, a wide swivel range from -275 to 275°, a 90° pivot, and a 150mm height adjustment. This model measures 613.8 mm in width, 463 mm in depth, with a height varying from 552.7 mm to 702.7 mm, and it weighs approximately 9.1 kg.
