ASUS and MSI are stepping up their game by offering burn-in warranties on their OLED monitors, marking an important shift in how we think about display longevity. ASUS is giving you peace of mind with a two-year warranty, while MSI is going even further with three years of coverage.  Although they haven't laid out exactly what counts as burn-in, it's a step in the right direction.

MSI is also reassuring its customers by covering their Quantum Dot (QD) OLED monitors for three years, which really speaks to how seriously they're taking our concerns about these screens lasting the distance.

Both companies aren't just stopping at warranties; they're also adding smart software features to their OLED monitors to help prevent burn-in from happening in the first place, like dimming persistent on-screen logos that could cause damage over time. Even though ASUS and MSI aren't the pioneers in burn-in warranties, their decision to offer them really highlights the industry's growing acknowledgment of burn-in as an issue we can't ignore. And with HP and Alienware also backing their QD OLED gaming monitors with three-year warranties, it's clear that protecting these investments is becoming a priority across the board.
