AOC has introduced the CU34G3X, a 34-inch curved gaming monitor featuring a 180 Hz refresh rate. Initially launched in the Chinese market, the monitor is priced at 2,999 yuan, equivalent to approximately 385 euros. The CU34G3X is equipped with a VA panel adopting a 1500R curvature and offers a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Its technical specifications include a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and an impressive 180 Hz refresh rate, accompanied by a swift 1 ms GTG response time, effectively addressing tearing issues in fast-paced gaming scenarios through AMD FreeSync integration. From a color perspective, the panel delivers a 10-bit (8-bit + FRC) color depth, 300 nits brightness, and holds an HDR10 certification. Notably, it boasts a static contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 80M:1. The monitor exhibits extensive color coverage, encompassing 132% of the sRGB, 109% of the NTSC, and 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. Furthermore, it ships with factory color calibration, ensuring impeccable color accuracy with a delta-e of less than 2.

For users considering wall mounts or alternative stand solutions, the monitor also incorporates VESA mounting points measuring 100 x 100 mm. The CU34G3X offers two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. It is recommended to utilize the DisplayPort to fully harness the monitor's resolution and refresh rate capabilities, as HDMI 2.0 limits the output to 3,440 x 1,440 at 100 Hz. Additionally, an integrated headphone jack provides audio connectivity. On the ergonomic front, the monitor's stand delivers a range of adjustments, including tilt capabilities ranging from -5° to +23°, a swivel range of 40°, and a height adjustment spanning from 0 to 130 millimeters.
