I dont it looks cheap for a card that is nothing but cheap. Atleast on AMD side you can get the best version of the 7800xt at the same price or less.

Should be ok for 1440p, especially with DLSS3 and FG where available.

I agree the prices are ridiculous, but who cares what the card looks like unless you're building a specific themed PC. And what the hell does a 7800XT have to do with this thread? You are definitely getting some kind of endorsements from AMD aren't you?

The thing is that chepeast 4070's st msrp are all cheepo versions like msi ventus, manli or inno3d. Every other brand is more epensive. I do care how it looks like and good are the fans and the cooling when spending 600€.

My last 3 GPU's have been MSI Ventus models because they're cheaper and work just as good as an overpriced Asus model. As long as you got good airflow and power in your case there is no reason to spend an extra 100-200 dollars for a third fan and RGB lighting. But that's just my opinion. I'm totally skipping the RTX 4000 generation because there is no value of bang for your buck there. My 3060 has been playing everything just fine at 1440p with high/ultra settings for over a year now. Nvidia really needs to go back to offering affordable GPU's in the $300 price range if they want to be the top seller.

We'll see if the OG 4070 price drop now with 4070Super released. It should have been the 499$ card.

I've seen a Zotac RTX 4070 12gb on Amazon for $534.99 Also the same price on Newegg with a code. I sure would like to see it drop sub $500
