I know a lot of people went over to Twitch due to Youtube's forced Google+ integration and the Copyright Claims on gameplay footage. If google/youtube buys out Twitch, I bet it'll be a mater of time before they crack down there too. edit Also see:
According to Variety’s sources, YouTube is currently preparing for US regulators to challenge the Twitch deal, with the company expecting the US Justice Department to reach a decision as to whether an acquisition of Twitch by YouTube constitutes anticompetitive behaviour in the online video market. Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal has delivered a more sober take on the rumoured deal, reporting today that the two companies are in preliminary talks about the deal. According to The Wall Street Journal sources, the deal is "not imminent" and the potential purchase price has not been confirmed, with Twitch also considering raising an additional funding round rather than selling to YouTube. At the time of writing, neither company had commented on the rumoured deal.

A lot of streamers going to be extremely pissed. Specialy because the commenting system on YouTube sucks.

The Verge is the only one reporting that this is guaranteed to happen. The Wall Street Journal reports that Google is only considering the idea of a buyout at the moment.

I see headaches in the future, One thing YouTube is horrible at is leaving something alone when it is working great and is simple. Heck, just look at how often they keep changing the youtube site. Every other month they are screwing up the subscriptions page view, or moving the inbox yet again without telling you, so you get to do the easter egg search for your inbox. I am afraid if they get twitch they will fix things that are not broke.
