Just wait for DD-WRT to be released for it and then you get awesome hardware with awesome soft/firmware for a very low price.

Microsoft, Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon... they all spy just as much or more. You do know that, right? You do also know that most 1st world countries also spy on their own citizens (including politicians) and on citizens of other countries. As schmidtbag comments: cheaper hardware, put DD-WRT (or some other) in it, and enjoy. Personally my main interest for Wifi 7 is MLO, but sadly implementation for it is not clear on most devices.

This thread is about a Xiaomi router. You do know that the link to the article criticizing Xiaomi products that you sent was mostly criticizing Xiaomi phones, which are all running Android, which is riddled with Google/NSA spyware (in this case, in conjunction with Xiaomi/Chinese spyware). You do know that, right?
