What type of panel is this? IPS/VA? Damn, and I had my shovel PG348Q for something like 1100 EUR back in the day (the idiot I was to buy it), wish there were prices lake that back then. Also all things aside - 21:9 is quite troublesome for older games, I run a 34inch 16:9 right now, and honestly, I feel way more comfortable with it. Less headache overall to achieve the desired outcome.

VA is great, personally, I think it's better than IPS due to deeper blacks.

IPS is more for professional business than VA. Superior color accuracy and almost perfect text reproduction. VA has richer colors due to better contrast, white and blacks. IPS is more like what creator wants you to see. Higher color volume does not equal accuracy, usually oversaturates. Each to his own. Personally I use both. For programming and editing I use IPS. VA is for movies and gaming.

Flat is so last decade. Wake up kid. We are getting rollable TVs in the future either manual or automatic. Curves and warping screens is the only way.

I might get this actually. I've been wanting to switch to 21:9 for a while now, but couldn't justify the cost while my 1440p 16:9 is still working. This one makes it quite affordable. I'm going to wait until the first reviews are in, then decide.

For that price looks like a bargain!

This was released in some countries in Asia December 2019 / January 2020, I had mine for about a month now got it from a local (Philippines) distributor for abour 445 usd. Before this I had a Dell Ultrasharp U2713h IPS monitor and a MSI Optix G27C4 165hz gaming monitor and boy I don't miss them a bit. Colors are pretty accurate, not ultrasharp accurate but close and gaming on an ultra-wide 144hz is awesome. The only complaint I have is that I have to dig in several layers in the menu to switch inputs.

Wow. Xiaomi product offer unbelievable value, their phones and routers are no exception. I was just looking at the new line-up of Gigabyte monitors last week as well which are similarly priced. One thing that makes me hesitate is where manufacturers say it is "G-sync compatible" but when you go and look on Nvidia's website it's not officially listed. Whether if this monitor supports it in an official or unofficial format remains to be seen, but no official certification makes me hesitate. I believe they should state this in their marketing...

On top of that, anyone with multiple flat screens does not use them side by side to form larger flat plane, but moves them to simulate curve. And when people used flat screens above each other, they often simulated sphere. (as long as they had mounting)

No need to worry it works perfectly with my GTX 1070ti.
