A handful of enterprising modders have gotten a number of peripherals, including a keyboard and mouse, working on the Xbox One. So basically you could state, they're making it a PC once again 🙂 ... Xbox One: Modders Add Mouse & Keyboard Support
I can hook up my kb/mouse to my ps3 and it will work, but up to the game as to weather it can be used could the 360 not do this? I would tihnk ps4 and one are exactly the same

first circle test with mouse was awesome ...he didnt even have to move the mouse and it looks like a lot of lag between mouse and game

What? Keyboard and mouse aren't officially supported? And people still wonder why I don't have any console... I simply enjoy freedom of choice. @Hilbert> Consoles have been gaining features with each and every generation: the ability to play CD's, then DVD's, stream videos, etc. Nowadays, you can do a lot of things I didn't even dream of back when I got my Megadrive (== Genesis for you American folks 😉). I don't think it's far-fetched to think that someday, both platforms (consoles and computers) will merge.

I could see myself using this in exclusive console shooters, other than that no. For all the other games I'll stock to pc versions and console controller.

this new generation consoles are trying too hard to act like a pc, im hoping they fail not too long in the future and leave the pc gaming/entertainment as the only capable solution so i can just put my rig under the tv, add kinect and have all the xbox things without the compromises

So your hoping for... 1.Consoles die out 2.PC's and PC gaming becomes popular again (not that it ever was, other than to those they call enthusiasts) 3.The 'good ol days' return, where PC is developed for at max effort/performance, etc. 4. Everyone lives happily ever after? Then what? Gaming becomes popular to everyone again, peps all cant afford expensive pc's, so either game on their phones or a company comes along with a pre-built pc type machine that is cheap and affordable that mum and dads can afford for the whole family - Enter Consoles. I believe you've rolled a 3 and landed on the 'go back to starting position' square... OT: Ms/KB in Ryse... lol.
