I love my PS4 and as former PC Gamer I don´t regred to go to Console. More fun, less problems, less expensives overall and better "gaming feeling" like playing FPS in a Controler, Vibration feedback is another level...
I miss the old days of good PC gaming... it was a way better the a Console but today that isn´t anymore true and most gamers know that the diferences between Console and PC are slim at best!
XBOX One is kinda a fail but for 249 Euros with 2 Games (atlest here in Portugal) its for sure a good investment... better then spend all alone in a GPU LOL!

CS pros should hear him and limit their PC graphical performance to remain sub 30 FPS and use a game pad instead of a mouse+keyboard.
An usb (or BT)controlled massage chair could add the vibration to round the experience.
Finally the fabled "next gaming level" only reachable on consoles could be somewhat (badly) emulated on a inferior platform like the PC.

You have no idea what you're missing.
In case this is news to anyone, there is room in the average household for both a PC ( or many) AND an xbox ( or more!). Crazy!
I'm not really a fanboy I don't think, the last console I owned was an NES and a second hand Genesis in '99 - well past it's real use. I've had a PC though from '88 to present.
Anyways, loving what the Xbox One has brought me and it even makes my PS4 friends want to trade-in for "one" of their own. 🙂
I fully intend to swap it out for a "scorpio" once they're out. There's the living room, and there's MY space.. with the PC.

I'm currently speccing a new box for work and play, and want to play 2 games MXGP2 and UFC 2.
But UFC 2 is PS4 and XBox only.
I'm not a pro or hard core gamer. If that price cut also makes it to Europe, I'm tempted. For the cost of RX 480 8GB or GTX 1060 that I planned on buying, I can play both games and take all gaming away from my work PC.
Too bad that it's only the 500GB model.
And when are the new gen XBox and PS due?

^^^Yeah wait and see, because some of the deals on the XB1 over the last few months have been cracking, i picked up the 1tb The Division bundle for £220 delivered a few months ago, sold The Divison for £30 on hot deals, cracking bundle, so i suspect you will see 1tb bundles going for under £200 or less now here in the UK\EU as the norm, great time to pick up a XB1, especially if like me, you have a large xbox 360 digital collection, because nothing beats seeing your 360 game library pop up on your XB1 game list. 🙂

I have not one game. So I can just get whichever.
Although I have a slight preference for PS because it also has exclusives like God of War and Heavenly Sword.

All I want is play the 2 games that I mentioned in my earlier post (maybe 3 others max).
EDIT: I just looked to the left and realise that my system specs are way outdated. I remember that box. Cool!

Scorpio will not be out until mid to late 2017, but, MS are doing a trade in for all xb1 owners towards the Scorpio, so nice to get money off the new Scorpio console at launch, plus all your XB1 and Xbox 360 games that work on the XB1 will go with you to said Scorpio, MS doing something right for a change. 😉

That's pretty decent of them that trade in. Heh heh! Guaranteed sales for them too. But it might just convince me, because after reading your post, I searched a bit and found that Sony wants money if you want to play your older games on PS4.
But I also read that Xbox One is region locked, and PS4 is not.

And I was told that I can play God of War with PCSX2 on PC when necessary.
But I'm trying not to game on PC.
