I have windows updates, defender, notifications, action center, cortana, telemetry etc all turned off or uninstalled/removed. 😛 I won't be seeing or needing any updates from Microspy... soft.

I have not disabled anything mentioned by gurus and I have never seen that notification restart pop-up because when you make your Internet connection a metered one you allow to check for updates manually and then restart Windows.

And yet your still using win 10,, why not go back to 7 or even a linux mint distro if your that bothered

There are tools which automate actions needed to disable/remove all tracking W10 does. Secondly, W10 is much better for gaming. Only exception is number of processes running in background and situation with games that use poor interaction with its anticheat that scans all running processes periodically. But you can still disable most of background apps since you are not using them.
