The game is average at best and the problems with Uplay made me not want to play it much at all which is a shame as I was looking forward to this game a lot but it didn't live upto the hype.

True in every single way from my end I am actually having to find a reason to play this game, it has utterly failed to draw me in and I fined myself going back to not only GTA5 but just much much better games like PA and KSP.

It's weird the games that I;ve played the most and enjoyed the most in the last year or two have been ones that I've maybe heard in passing through a forum or saw an interesting video on Youtube and then decided to buy after a few minutes of looking in to the game, beyond GTA5 and Borderlands 2, I haven't played and really enjoyed ANY of the really big releases, I just hope Borderlands The Pre-sequel doesn't fall in to that category.

Love this game, but it has a somewhat steeper learning curve. If you are a fan of stealth-type games I highly recommend it. Its like a bit of Metal Gear Solid, GTA, and FC3 mixed together.

My Comment will have 2 parts: Performance(1) and Story/Gameplay(2) => 1) Guys .. seriously .. even here on guru3d in the performance review your fps is ridiculously bad ... I've had much better performance than this with very similar settings ... read on: DISCLOSURE: I've waited to play the game with patch 1.1 so MAYBE that's why my performance was good , I dunno ... I've played the game at 2560x1440 , AA set to the one before 2xMSAA(temporal SMAA I think its called , not sure) , GPUMaxBufferedFrames at 2(default I think) , MotionBlur Off(cause I don't like motion blur in my games) and VSync Off(like in ALL my games) and everything else set to the maximum. My PC: i7 2600k ~ 4.5Ghz , 16GB-RAM , OS(win 7) on SDD(but game on 3TB HDD) and a GTX 780 (yup , not Ti ... WITH slight OC) and yet my frames were never bellow 42fps(min) and usually at 55+) ... can ANYONE explain this to me ? and its the same in almost every game that I've played ... I almost always get more(if not a lot more) fps than any of the reviews ... 2) Gameplay: its OK - that about sums it up ... the only thing I really disliked was the handling of the cars and that they mosty drove the same way with only slight differences (not to mention game physics - firetruck down hill obliterates "smaller" truck but gets stopped instantly by small >>BUSH<< and I don't mean the ex president 🤓 ... seriously, has anyone checked the bushes and trees for Green Lantern power rings ?? ) Also the guns ... would have liked slightly more variety ( 😯rder: what in Sam Hill are you talking about there son :camo: ? there were like a gazzilion guns in the game ) and what I mean by that was that the guns felt much too simmilar and it didn't rly matter which one you used unless you needed silenced kills ... the 50.cal gun penetrated several people at once but could not pen a THIN metal plate to kill the sniper behind it ... The game is way, waaaay overrated. If it weren't for all the hype maybe I would have had smaller expecations, but considering how much money they made off it already they sure as hell could have polished it out more, it was a very messy release and still has a lot of fixes needed.

Let me see if I can be a Elitist gamer or brainless follower. Ahem.. Man I hate UBI soft, worst game ever. Biggest console port I've seen, did they even try? Gameplay and graphics is worse than Aliens Colonial Marines. They will never see my money ever again! Neither will Gearbox, EA, Eidos Interactive, PopCap Games, Rockstar Games, Square Enix, Valve etc.. Screw them all. I am too good for all of them! I never have anything good, nice or positive to say about any game ever because I am an elitist PC gamer! No game can and will not ever live up to my standards. I even agree with others even if I haven't played the game because its the cool things to do "copy everything other people say". Really though, I happen to believe if 50% or more of the people who complain did not read any reviews, did not watch game videos or read poor comments on forums or YouTube. If they would play a game start to finish with no knowledge of negative people talking crap. They would have a different opinion on a lot of games. Now for myself, I like the game and I'm having plenty of fun with it. It also happens to run pretty good on my PC on High to Ultra settings. Is it the best game ever, no. Its far from horrible. Its too bad its running bad for a lot of people but hopefully that performance patch they are speaking of will be out soon. Anyways.. I am having fun and that matters most for every game I play. **** what other people think or say. I don't let the BS I read affect my opinion on a game. This is a completely different game than what everyone saw at E3! Nothing about this game is next gen & the amount of game breaking bugs is absurd. A ton of people can't even play this bugfest of a game because of the forced UPlay rubbish. Would you buy a car that had everything but the engine & wheels installed on a promise that they will be added later as well? Your tone was obviously sarcastic & condescending & implied people complain too much or for no reason. You have a right to your opinion I however I have the right to respectfully & strongly disagree. 🙂 Unfortunately we are always going to have these good little brainless consumer fanboyish drones with too much money or their mommy's credit card & no clue on how to responsibly management money who will defend this kind of behavior. You are definetly right about THAT 😛uke2: ... the game is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what was shown at E3. Best Example: youtube.com/watch?v=L_A6Z3gkXlk However if you think about how at 1440p with only 2xMSAA you can pass 3GB VRAM can you imagine if the graphics looked like they originally showed us ?? A Titan Black with its 6GB VRAM would be in danger of running out of VRAM and horsepower :bang: ... Something tells me that at E3 they were running QUAD SLI with 4GB 680's or something ... and at 1080p max (if not even 720p) in order to look like that which would explain why these game trailers seem to be shown in 720p :grad: EVERY company does the same thing ... in the trailers its like: OMG , next gen and then when the final product comes out: s**t , its minecraft :3eyes: ... Something like this can only be blamed on the consoles since they can't even do 1080 at 30fps in many cases(and I'm talking about the "next gen" consoles here ...) and so they dumb down PC graphics since there would be too much of a difference between the PC's and consoles and console people would start crying and finnaly saying that they won't settle for mediocre (30fps upscaled to 1080p from 720p/792p/920p etc...) graphics in anno 2014 . I am willing to bet (Watch Dogs woke up the cospiracy theorist in me) that Microsoft and Sony are paying these game developers or outright threathening to ban them from their console if they don't lower PC graphics quality to maintain console competitiveness. Even if that were not the case the game companies themselves are doing it for the same reasons(and to make money by fooling people of course). I just wish that there were no more i****s that pre-ordered games ... I'm willing to bet that if there were no more pre-orders then these companies would be forced to make the games the way they should be made(for PC anyway) and not these half-baked , unffinished and buggy releases. I still can't believe that these "people" can't be held accountable for their outright crimes ...

I will buy it, in two years in Steam summer sales for few bucks. Maybe then it will be patched enough too.
