Where is list of these certified cables? I'm looking for decent hbr3 cable in range of 1-2m length. That's funny how hard it is find to such simple thing.

If they used an optical fiber in the cable, they wouldn't need to create a new standard every other year to increase the bandwidth precisely up to the critical level needed. But then again, they would make themselves jobless, so I guess it's no good.

8k is years away from being important right now. 4K content is still only slowly coming out beyond gaming media... will be nice to see 120-144hz 4k monitors come out however, biggest issue with DP1.2 was the 60hz limit on it
