Amazing what they did. Hopefully they took this the right way and start loosening release schedules so they aren't forced to release a game that's still in need of months of work. I hope EA takes note and starts compensating for the bad state Battlefield 4 was in from the release up until the last few months.

This made me chuckle. To me personally it read like 'hey, we screwed up, but please don't be angry and take something free so you shut up'. Even though it's not that bad, I wonder if those other games have no bugs at their current state... or is this going to be a buy one buggy game get two buggy games deal? But, to their good, they at least try to offer something in return, and try to please the community. Not a bad move.

if people keep giving them money you keep getting these unfinished pc ports ,people need to vote with there wallets i refuse to buy these unfinished games things need to change these 4 things need changing in my opinion number 1. stop making 40 gb games with 35 gb of stupid video cut scenes in 1080p tell the story through the gameplay and drop the endless cut scenes so the games can be a lot smaller and quality like crysis 3 11gb or something and still looks 10 times better than these 40 gb games number 2 stop locking frame rates , frame rates on pc games should never be locked number 3 stop with the patches make sure the game runs smooth and has sli and crossfire support before you release it , not release it unfinished then customers have download about 20 patches b4 it works number 4 stop with drm take gta 5 on consoles most people went stores and buy it they want play the game the day it release they want go buy a disc copy install and play no drm no downloading no codes to enter just go store buy disc instal it in 10 mins and play the game and if you buy a game why cant u lend it freind hell you buy it its yours same as a car or a house game developers want you buy a game but they still own it very bad behaviour and you will still make loads money and all piracy will stop DRM does not work punishes consumers and needs to go

A good way to own up to their F**K UP but they should have delayed and fixed the game BEFORE even releasing. Think how this would have been if it was an appliance or vehicle? Free carpet or app because the basic item was broken at launch and they knew it! The sheeple would have sued the pants out of them but hey, its a game. Their crap ban on journalistic reviews prior to release is also extremely shady as F***! Don't even think for one minute these guys are sorry. Its just really to shut everyone up before even more damage is done which they had already did to themselves. I would not give them any of my money until they clean up their act on day one. There are still other games better produced and customers better treated then these douche bags.

+1 , Ubisoft games must be optimized better ! too many issue (incredible stuterring in FC4 etc....)

Why not a refund? Did they ever offer a refund? Surely if it's not fit for purpose on launch you should be eligible for a full refund!

They have given strong hints towards a sixth, free DLC with popular maps from previous BF games.

Thanks Ubisoft for the game, Now I will have another Ubisoft game which doesn't work in my library.
