I dont care if its 170hz.....£500+ for a 1440p screen, I paid less than £300 for my LG 28" 4k brand new, i prefer pixel density over refresh

It is not 1440p though, it is 4K 144hz and has 2.1 HDMI connector which I suppose Your LG doesn't.

My bad, a quick search brings up so many models with almost identical model numbers, as for my Lg....like i said pixels over hz, i dont need super fps for games like the division2 and GR Breakpoint

Anything below 32 inches is too small for 4K! Both great to see that HDMI 2.1 is slowly being added to PC monitors, both I shall wait for DisplayPort 2.0 before purchasing a 4K monitor

I am intrested IF it priced around 350$ which probably wont be. Been looking for 28" 4K monitor. even if my gpu cant handle such res. I gona need new monitor sooner later less I dont get new GPU and seeing I need gpu hdmi for my TV and I only buy evga gpu that leave me with issue. of needing a monitor with DP or choosing between monitor or tv hooked up. I will probably end up with just 60 hz 4k monitor was fastest response time possible seeing those will be in price range

If i were on the market for a new monitor it would ticks all the boxes. IPS/1ms/4K/120+Hz/Dynamic frequency : Wondering how much it's worth nowadays.

Would these games not benefit from a higher refresh than 60Hz? Unless every gaming monitor review I've read during the last few years is BS then a higher than 60Hz refresh rate is of benefit to gaming. I used a Dell U2711 1440 60Hz screen for 10 years until I upgraded to my ASUS widescreen + new gaming computer last November.

i have the 1440p (VG 27A) version of this to replace my old Agon 32" VA i love it, a much better deal than the "ROG". i use it with a ROG (rtx 2070) laptop. my workstation is using 55" 4k but with a more powerful gpu (rx6800xt) so i can do HDR 10 or Dolby Vision+ with a full array backlight. what i would say about this particular model is what others have said - it's too small for 4k especially if you do any work with any Office program. you have to fiddle the settings vs out of the box performance. i love 1440p for 27" sized monitors as they can be closer to you with good pitch density. fast (144+Hz) IPS is great but this remains edge lit like mine so you can't get "real" HDR, only "compatible" with HDR 400 (the lowest spec). on a full array or OLED if you have HDR you're never going back. i end up gaming more in the den than in my office which is the reverse of my old M.O.

"...features hardware-based Low Blue Light technology, which helps to protect users' eyes from..." This PR bullcrap burns my eyes much more than all the blue light in the whole world.

1ms gtg is a total utter useless metric !if i am not mistaken the fastest monitors sit on around 3 ms ....an 144hz monitor will do just fine even if the pixels change in 5ms from 0 to 255 !
