this is one of the reasons WD bought Toshiba's ssd business. right now they're putting excellent Micron memory into their nvme, but the Toshiba goes into the next and we should see a price reduction on top (even tho' Toshiba historically is exp. at retail) of that of about 5-8% over WD Black nvme by fall 2018.
