Requirements look pretty reasonable, but maybe those are only for the test. I hope the game is well optimized, because most people won't be able to upgrade until 2023.

Recommended for AMD is much faster though? R5 3600 (launched 2019) vs i7 4790k (launched 2014).

I would not take it seriosly. 3600 will end up being much faster.

BF games do favor more cores from what i've seen.

They would, if not for the current GPU prices. If you don't mind playing on low/medium you're set though!

Something strange for recommended requirements on rtx 2060 or 5600 xt have only 6go vram ... Video Memory: 8GB Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT Graphics card (NVIDIA): Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060

Pretty sure they learned their lesson on optimization back in 2014 when screwing around with battlefield 4 and mantle. There's no reason to wonder if its gonna be good or not ^^

FPS was never really an issue with any of the Battlefield series on any hardware I ever had. Expect maybe the stuttering/frame pacing issues on dual GPU 7990

It took Amd only 3 years to fix framepacing for cfx 😛 I used 2x 7970.

Is that recommended for like 1080p 60fps or 30 fps? Seems super low :O.

Wow!....it will play on anything!...great optimization right there. Good job EA!

The 4890k was top-of-the-line....I think it was the fastest gaming processor at the time? (please correct me if I'm wrong) 3600 could never hold that title ever so yea.

what ALWAYS irkes me..is there are NEVER any sound codecs mentioned whatsoever. Games now support Dolby Atmos/DTS:X/Auro3D and NOT just 5.1, this should ALWAYS be listed EVEN if its just (20+ year old 5.1). Can we make this happen, please? 🙂

I dont think 4cores gonna cut it anymore. Cpu usage pegged at 100% means stuttery gameplay and BF do make use of more cores. Its the same story with your 2600k and 8700k where you said average performance isnt that different but minimum can be.

I agree - but even getting an option that tells you if it's stereo or 5.1, etc. is rare enough nowadays.

We gonna trust ea now? They also recommend 8gb vram gpu like 2060 and 5600xt lol

Quad cores have been around for well over 10 years now.

They stopped because its all VSS and there is no superior solution to 5.1\7.1 until a realtime hardware Atmos-like encoder exists. In that case you would also need proper Atmos hardware like a receiver and 5.1.2 physical speakers minimum. Then, and only then, will the standard of 5.1 finally be truly superseded. There is a reason they stopped, and its because everyone started using stereo headphones.
