its already been downgraded it probably look the same as beta but its the performance when you add the gameworks features and the denuvo its probably gonna take a 980ti to get 60fps at 1080p on ulltra , a 970 like i have will be high settings and look same as ps4 so i spend £1000 on my pc a ps4 is £250 and i get same graphics is not very good behaviour from these publishers
The Gameworks features were in the beta and I haven't seen a single shred of proof that Denuvo effects performance. There was one dev, on a now deleted twitch stream, that said it effects CPU performance by 3-5% but he clarified that was during the initial load period. Also there are multiple reports that the beta had Denuvo on it as well, along with multiple reports that the game won't have Denuvo at all. So until any of that is confirmed it's kind of pointless bringing it up. I really wouldn't worry about it. I was getting ~40-50 FPS on my 980 @ QHD res with the settings essentially maxed out. Game runs fine and it looks great but as I said I don't care for the gameplay.

Okay looks very nice, all techy and full of fantastic graphical buzz words, now what in that trailer is making me want to actually play the game? Cause my god did that trailer make the game look boring.

If you don't count the graphic downgrade, performance wise i confirm the game has been for me in the beta pretty solid in every situation

A friend and I had a great time playing through the beta at least... I like their new approach with this new engine though.

60fps advertised as a feature nowadays.
Unfortunately it has been a console world, and so things that were the norm back in the day are somehow novel today. Anything to market to gamers, and in particular Ubisoft is trying to win back some favour amongst the pcmr. I played Closed Beta and thought the game was good.. definitely felt like it could afford to be optimized a bit more (playing ultrawide with a 980ti oc) but definitely is easy to tell that they put in a ton of work to make the city look and environment look very good. The gameplay is what is most suspect to me. Graphics are fine and dandy, but running around in the streets and getting into gunfights over and over again will get tedious.. so I'm holding fast hope that they actually structure other things within the game.. different story arcs and interesting quests beyond just venturing into the dark zone. Not sure if I will get it right at release, but who knows.
