Yeah I have not used FB for years, otherwise this "unfollow everything" extension seems neat as I was tired of seeing friends posting BS fishing for likes o_O

Because why have nice things, eh?

It would do Facebook good to slap it with a billion dollar fine.

This does not make any sense.
Can you NOT unfollow people using the tools that FB give you?

I didn't even know such an extension existed! There needs to be a nuke option to un-everything!

I stopped using farcebook about 6 years ago and, providing they don't lie about it, my account should have been deleted 2 years ago. If I had known about this tool/if it had existed at the time, I might still have an account.
Ah well, no great loss!

And so it came to pass that modem day digital heroes are the new "villains", because money, abuse of power and control.
And FYI, the "You are zucked" is a thing.

I sort of did this manually - I started unfollowing everything that wasn't relevant, blocking all ads posts and unfollowing all pages that I "Liked" - unfollowed people who just posted nonsense, unfriended those who I never talked to. Then facebook was just... pretty much empty and there was no point in going there.
I still use it for eventhandling for my D&D group and party invites and such. It is just easier this way to get in touch with people in an age where people long since either stopped having personal email adresses, changed phone number constantly, and just in general became harder to get in touch with.

I have heard one can never actually delete a created account. It just goes dormant.
Is this true?
