These are good PSU's and luck nice too with their light up connectors (i have a white one). I just hope that they may have upgraded the fan on this model as Fan noise can be a issue for those who want a silent running.

Absolutely fantastic line of PSU's. They're also EVGA's OEM for anyone interested, I realise it can be difficult to get hold of them outside of Europe.

Looks like they got rid of the light up connectors, Unless it's only the cables that light up now.

Man 1600W I don't know anyone that would need that much power. Multi card setups dont need that much power.

The only way is ebay or online for those outside Europe.

Maybe just for saving on the energy bill. These run at 94% efficiency at 50% load, so that's mere 48W PSU overhead while the system uses 800W. Go to max load and effieciency drops to 90%, so 160W overhead down the drain. Botton line: Want to use as little power as posible with your build ? Aim for a PSU that you can constantly have around 50% load on average.

Well mine is ~ 92% @ 450-500W so not really bothered by it. also I never use that much as whole system.. Imo all these uber psu are overrated unless you run 3-4 gpus 🙂

I agree. It is overkill for 2 gpus or less. 2nd of all not many games support 3-4 gpus if any.
