They haven't even set a standard yet for DDR5. So how would they know they are ready for it? I'm ready to fly a spaceship to Mars, although I have no formal training.

hmmm, they said “DDR5 is still just ‘talk’ at this point...." and that they are focusing on DDR4 improvements for upcoming releases. EDIT: I do find it odd that they are making such a fuss with their new Faster 2666 DDR4, which is so behind the times it is like a rather old article slipped into HH's current news items lol

Even if these were binned for insanely low CL 2666 is not an enticing frequency.

What they really said,......... " “DDR5 is still just ‘talk’ at this point. The price of DDR5 will be luxury gear for heavy players only.” AND..." the two modules are an important upgrade for users in the months leading up to a --->DDR5 launch.<---- Really? Based on what standard was my question? Hmmmm?

"Our goal is to stay current with the latest technology and keep our leading position." Right... 2666 was available a long time ago. Perhaps they meant leading position of last place?

Well from that regard, seeing that they are aiming at average users who can get "highest" performance out of avg speed kits (their latest being 2666) at reasonable prices, as the new DDR5 will be a Really expensive heavy luxury platform when it launches and not something their average users should wait for. Better ?

I'm trying to figure out when they actually had a "leading position" that they would need to keep. I can't imagine being in last place is something any company strives for....
