Sony hasn't even released the RMS or Peak wattage of these speakers, which automatically drives me away from them, many people use portable speakers outside in the summer and the output of the speaker is massively important.

@PsyaNyde because many other brands give you some short burst rms thats completely unusable (normal use), and useless for proper comarison. completely ignoring that to do a noticeable increase in vol (human ear), you need to have multiple times more power, and there is no magic in battery/amp tech&design, where one brand would do much better than others, given similar hw specs. i have never had any of my customers asking about wattage numbers, after playing demos (above the 100 series), and for most of the units offering AC power, usually didnt even need more than 80% of full vol, which most units will even reproduce without noticeable rattling or distortion. even asked if they would still buy it after they heard it, even if the box said "50W" rms, and all said yes.
