Sadly, internal ssd is enough for every interesting exclusive for PS5.

I think its useful for someone in a country with not so good internet speed. Its much more preferable for them to store many games than deleting games to download and install another games, assuming if they go all digital.

Having support to add more than you need is ALWAYS a good thing even if you never use it ! Plus 4tb drives are not that outlandish nowadays having em filled ...is a bit out there but very possible so 8tb does even sound that outlandish.

What a strange thing to complain about. The planet doesn't revolve around you or your gaming habits. There are people for whom PS5 is their primary gaming platform and they play all games on it. I game primarily on PC, and even I have installed additional 1TB SSD in my PS5, because nowadays 3-4 games can take up entire PS5's internal space.
