I got the M9 recently thanks to great deal. I really like it. For an IPS monitor it's really nice. 600 nit HDR rating but reviews show it actually hits 800 nits. 4K/144hz. Really happy with it. Their monitors are a bit expensive so anyone wanting this maybe wait for a sale. My only complaint is I can't get the firmware to update, keeps telling me I have no connection. I even contacted Sony, two techs later they couldn't figure it out. But otherwise, no issues.

It's Soyny, so expect no better. Anyone with any functional brain cells seems to have left that dumpster fire a long time ago.
They went from a renowned all-around tech company to one of the most ridiculous in every way.

I disagree, Sony products have great build quality and anyone with brain cells would know that. Though i would never purchase that monitor.

This sounds like ********, I don't see why this would be anymore special than other 240Hz IPS panels, it's probably worse than the best - I think I got one of the best in the XG270 in this bracket and I got it for £240. I think this is a cash grab product, this Sony.

eh ips ruins it it could be 1000hz and i would not care, ips will never touch again, 27" is good cause anything bigger then that for desk is to big. but 1080p? not a 27" very least 1440p then again i think 27" with 1440p looks bad mostly cause i DSR everything but my desktop to 1440p now on my 24"
