I wonder if the classic 3.0 adapter cards will work on the 4.0 PCIe bus with 4.0 NVMe, it should no? I mean it is just a socket converter...

i would said "yes", but it depend on what is on the board, cheap one just convert, and some have a chip on it... so i don't know.

Guess it is best to have the cheap one that just convert like mine.
