Almost 800 euros for a card that costs approximately 400. Seems OK. Ain't it?

Just 0.98 ETH.

Sure. I'll obviously buy that one over a 1080 Ti. That's a no-brainer. /s

It's just ~€110 more (the Asus ROG Strix 1080 Ti goes for €900.) Which translates to something like 15% price difference for a 50% performance difference.

Nobody but a miner will pay that price for it. Sapphire should redesign their website. At least half of it should be reserved for the mining stuff, which is now nowhere to be seen. They still pretend they are making gaming products with prices like that.

Wonder what it'll cost here with the current Vega pricing levels heh. That and I guess this is why Nitro Vega kinda disappeared after like one month? EDIT: A quick check and two stores have listings for it but no stock or any info, price puts it roughly at 800 to 820 Euro after price conversion for now. (So 980 to 1000 USD much like the other Vega 56 GPU's then it seems and way above MSRP as always though this is a third party so it'd probably be more like 600 than 400 but this is still a bit above that.) EDIT: Stupid to buy them at that price of course but fun to see how prices change from one week to the other. (Or rather it's a poor investment at that price point.)

This graphics card looks really nice and it's well made , only the price is really too high and it's price/performance ratio is the worst possible 🙁

Not really. It's all thanks to the miners who will pay anything. So far the PC hardware stores and even pesky eBay resellers have been making a real killing. AMD and Nvidia haven't probably raised their GPU prices much at all. The memory manufacturers' cartel, though, have raised theirs. I have no idea about the card manufactures putting it all together, but when they know the stores will automatically add a huge profit margin to the recommended price, who wouldn't want to raise the MSRP by raising the factory price? If the stores are laughing at the video card maker's MSRP, then the video card makers might as well see who's the last one to laugh. If the cryptocurrency market collapsed, I'm sure Sapphire would correct that price immediately to sensible levels. Then a consumer's blight would only be increased by the memory chip maker's cartel prices.

I wish they would stop marketing cards that no one gets the chance to buy!!! Dude... you can only brag about your majestic card WHEN YOU CAN GET IT ON THE SHELVES !!! Not when it's "Out of stock" everywhere in the entire World.

Whole gpu market gone wild. What is happening? Is this the end of the world? Lol
