250Nits is low for a monitor is it not? Especially for a OLED highend screen. Or am i missing something?

Maybe price will be low to match?

I keep seeing people saying that "x amount of brightness is too little", meanwhile I keep my Asus OLED (the 27 inch 240HZ) at 40% in uniform brightness mode and I feel it is VERY BRIGHT. I tried it in HDR and my eyes hurt. I guess it's just my eyes are different.

Depends on ambient light, direct sunlight and screen reflections.

If you look at the pics of the monitor it is set in a darkened room. 250nits is about the brightness of an average laptop monitor. I would have to see this monitor in use in the store before buying it. The other specs are well done.

the brightness is OK for everywhere except bright rooms. the curve would make that worse in mornings and evenings. True HDR 400 is NOT HDR 400, it actually can show off HDR quite well the issues are: price ...@ $2,200 there are technically superior choices in all areas of measurement. and another issue is the aspect ratio does not appeal to everyone. this may seem like a productivity gem, but that's a rough cut, not a polished gem. and if you consider something like the KTC 42" 4k (MLA) panel - it's half the price, way brighter, more accurate color gamut but 16:9 as far as ultrawides - this is the new king

If it wasn't for the price... I would be all over this. Love my 32:9, but man would OLED be sweet.

Ok.. but if you have direct sunlight on your monitor, Wouldn't You say that addressing that problem is the key, not blasting your eyes with more light?

Same for me, I keep all monitors with a very low brightness, the LG C2 im using atm is around 40 but, it is true that I usually play in a more dark than bright room.
