Apple should sue Samsung for copying theirs new and awesome "bending feature" 😀

As bendable as my cocker spaniel? Sorry, just had to. 🙂

I'm not surprised it bends as easily as the 6 plus. I'm also not surprised that the screen cracks to the side more easily. It makes sense if you think about it, you're bending an already warped display.

Ridiculous non-issue if you ask me. Unless you put your phone in your back pocket and always sit on it. But then what other phones have they tested besides those 3 models that do substantially better under same conditions?

Why didn't they test it with the normal Samsung Galaxy S6 ? Why only the Edge ? Why are you posting this almost a full week after it originated ?

I actually chuckles when the iPhone had such troubles, and though I'd never go for crapple, but for Samsung. Later I learned Samsung isn't much better, so now this makes me chuckle again 😀

Ridiculous, who's ass is going to put so much pressure?, do you have a 2 point rigid ass and you like to sit on narrow straight bars?
Agree, tests like this are nothing more than ridiculous. I don't expect from any phone or tablet/phablet (doesn't matter how much it costs) to bend like that and stay alive or without any noticable/functional damage. FFS it's a sensitive piece of tech not a Terminator T-800 or T-1000! I think there is no reason to expect in next 5 or 10 years from now phones and similar piece of tech to be tough that much so you can play hockey with it, throw it from the 10 floor building, shoot it with shotgun... and similar stupidity and to expect it will stay undamaged, not for that price we are paying that technology right now. One day for sure they will become thougher then they are right now but I don't expect from them to become undestructible because manufacurers will lose profit because of that: if phone users can't damaged it in that case they won't buy another one to replace damaged one.

i don't understand why they don't make the bodies of of cast iron. or at least they should make some covers out of it.

Weight probably. Maybe it interfers with the phone's signals, but that I don't know about.

The iPhone 6 bends well under 80lbs of pressure, at room temperature it may need 100lbs but the problem with the iPhone 6 was due to being made from a single piece of aluminum which we all know is a great heat conductor. When it's in your pocket your phone has less ventilation so with the processor running and the heat from your body with a massive aluminum heatsink making close contact with your leg and as such body heat warming up the aluminum it's structure is much weaker and thus can bend since it's fairly thin, unlike the somewhat more chunky HTC phones. Not sure if this will have much baring on the Galaxy 6 as it's glass and the aluminum will have less contact with your leg and thus won't heat up the structure as much to make it as bendable.

[/spoiler] That sums it up. Phone is all good to me. Good, that I do not need new phone, this is expensive stuff.

It should be well known by now, that Iphone 6 plus needs a lot less pressure on certain point (right below the volume button), then the video implies - which is why it became an issue for many people - that is my understanding at least.
