LG 34UM67 w/Freesync should be the one of greater interest imo. Just that you'd have to switch to an AMD GPU.

I do believe 'SVA' is either from Sharp or at least SVA group, at least google gives many references to such panels from Sharp in Samsung product (though without details)

Samsung do PVA ( since end of 90's ), SPVA panel, ( Super paterned vertical alignement ), A-PVA etc .. SVA could be a new SPVA panel... http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/panel_technologies.htm Its sure that they now do more PLS / IPS and other type of panels, but still... It exist an consortium between different Japanese panels producer and Samsung and i think Sharp and Panasonic are in. Well it will not be a surprise as when they launch the UHD alliance in CES some days ago, you had who ? Sharp, Panasonic, Samsung.

How is possible, that a monitor costs almost the same as an Ultra HD Smart TV? Those prices are ridiculous. I'll add some cash and i'll buy me a 55" curved ultra hd tv from Samsung.

This looks nice, but why no freesync? Samsung said last year that all of their 4k screens will have freesync.. Still no 34" curved 4K monitor with freesync? 🙁

It's an very interesting monitor, but I wish it was slightly curved as well. And why is it always only the professional monitors (with no freesync) that gets the best stands? .. Oh well, I hope there will be some other models released later this year with curved 34" with freesync 🙂
