Wasn't it the batteries that caused the Note 7 debacle? (didn't follow the stories too closely).

Yes the batteries was the one catching fire, but even after they changed that to different batteries, it also caught fire so it must be something ells in the hardware that is causing these batteries to act up in smoke (or fire).
