Do it, doooooo it! Netflix doesn't know what they are even doing with these constant price raises and crying about shared accounts. Consolidate it under the banner of the MS!

He would probably find it better than the dumpster fire Netflix's productions are right now:

Microsoft (and many other tech companies) seem to have forgotten how just 20 years ago they were almost forcibly broken up over monopolistic practices. I guess they will have to be reminded of that again, soon.

I hope MS takes over NF soon, and the first thing they do is fire the entire The Witcher woke Creative team and stay truer (not true per se as some of the things that happen in the book may not be quite digestible to most, like the crap that happened to Ciri). Honestly, Voleth Meir was totally made up, why? Well, the creative team decided they'd needed a 'bad guy, or main villain' for the 2nd season, so up sprang Voleth Meir. eh, sorry for the segue, just needed to vent. 😳

uhm, i guess i prefer many small corporate overlords than one big corporate overlord, the end is always the same, the consumer get fcked and they get the money

The only problem I see for Activision and Microsoft in their mutually agreeable merger are government bureaucrats without enough to do. If this was a hostile takeover, I could see the FTC's role--but it isn't. Both companies desire it, Activision wishes to sell and Microsoft is ready to buy. Who else could buy Activision without running it into the ground? The problem with government agencies is that most of the time when their dictatorial actions cause problems, it's problems for consumers in the long run. Lately, Microsoft has bought a number of good game devs who could easily have gone broke had they not been scooped up by Microsoft. InXile and Obsidian are two of those companies.
