At least the coil whine doesn't seem to be the issue here... Quick question @Hilbert Hagedoorn. When you test Witcher 3, do you also frank up Hairworks to max? Turning it off provides a lot of wiggle room, so I'd like to know how much room there is for mods xd EDIT: It costs 700$ here, ffs.

The benchmarks are done with Hairworks off because its a feature that is either not available or performs unfavourably on AMD graphics cards. When he initially tested the 3080/3090 and then the 3070, it was quickly made apparent there was a bug involved causing hairworks to be stuck on, the results were lower than all other reviewers and looked to match up with some video benchmarks that did have it on.

Ordered mine today! It's my first MSI GPU ever. Always had ASUS or EVGA... At least MSI has a 3 year warranty. Time to retire that trusty 1070!!

from what I gathered, strix>tuf>trio they're all excellent for the looks I'd pick the strix for the value I'd pick the tuf

indeed look like nice upgrade to the 1070ti, still think what another year or 2 before thinking about upgrades new consoles just came out. need little time to pc tech to leap over more then it really is atm I not fan of the fact 1070ti use less power then the 3060ti less i reading those charts wrong, which make me wonder if performance increase is from more power being used. inwhich case they need to work on there architecture 3060ti will create more heat then then 1070ti have does and almost 100 more watts
