I like the looks but it sure is immensely overpriced, as they've all been in the past. FD isn't best bang for the buck anymore that's for sure.

Definitely overpriced now I payed 89$ for FD R5 when it was on SALE normal it was like 130$+ then again they been adding to there price for last few years over last year.

All I want is a R6 with removable PSU shroud and forward-facing drive bays (as opposed to accessible from the back of the motherboard). 🙁 Well, perhaps not all I want but you get the idea...

My previous case was the R4 and I can understand the price difference between the R4 (or R5, the differences between the R4 and 5 are so marginal) and the R6 (which I have now) - the build quality is on a totally different level. While the R4 was a good and strong case, it missed a few things and the steel itself is slightly thinner where as the R6, it's heavier and feels much more sturdy and is much easier to expand or customise. Looking at this new Vector RS, it's quite clear that the internal frame is that of an R6 but with design elements from the S2 as well - the side glass panel and the additional top glass panel certainly inflate the price as TG panels are not cheap, particularly in a manner that Fractal design them for easy removal by framing the glass (unlike other manufacturers that put boreholes through the glass to be able to secure them down for example). At this point though, I think we're at a stage where Fractal is quite well recognised and so we are paying for the brand name in addition to the case itself...

R6 with blings and edgy looks, that's how i see, still prefer R6, and the death of the optical drives is not on my reality. Give me the option! Btw, come to Brazil Fractal i can't pay 3 times the price of your cases!

The entire appeal of Rn cases is the padded door that can be opened when the computer is under heavy load and get more airflow in to cope with the extra heat generated. (Sacrifice silence for performance only when needed) This one is just your run-of-the-mill semi-choked case which will get mid-range performance. FD was one of the last who didn't give in the RGB craze... looks like it's game over 🙁. They sacrificed the door for that s*it. And that price !?? Bloody hell... I'll just wait until this nonsense RGB age passes and then buy my next case.
